The final race that concluded the biggest series of the Czech races was held last weekend at the XRAY factory track in Trencin. Traditionally a great course, there was nice weather and over 100 drivers from Czech and Austria (headed by Martin Hudy and Zdenko Kunak from Slovakia). Friday free practice showed evenness of all categories Superstock 13.5T; Stock 17.5T; World GT; Modified; and IC Track. Of interest to everybody was that this was the first racing start of the T3’11 on the same day that the car was launched on Team XRAY’s official website. Saturday qualification was a battle for the final positions, and especially for Tekin it was a great day as 7 of 10 A-final drivers in Superstock used their electronics systems.

The XRAY chassis was TQ in all categories after qualifications. TQ in Superstock went to Martin Hudy (XRAY T3’11), TQ in Modified went to Zdenko Kunak (T3), TQ in Stock went to Jiri Opl (T3) and TQ in World GT went to Radek Flek with his X10 Link. The sovereign of IC Track was Martin Hudy with his XRAY NT1. The final rounds on Sunday were very thrilling. All TQ drivers won the final heats, but their position was not so simple and fantastic duels were seen amongst the rest of the drivers for podium placing. Especially exciting were the battles between Petr Grof (T3’11) and Zdenko Kunak (T3) in Superstock.

The overall winner of the prestigious Czech racing series was Radek Flek in Superstock and World GT categories; and winner of Stock 17.5T was Jiri Opl. Over 200 drivers attended the XRAY Challenge and already the winter season starts on Oct-23... a series of 30 XRAY Challenge races on carpet in Czech & Moravia during 2010/2011. The races will be organized in Prague (Czech) and Holesov (Moravia). Last years attendance of the winter series was over 300 drivers, and general organizer Martin Korinek (RCXAUTA) believes that this year’s attendance will be even bigger. More on www.rcxauta.cz.
